Wow! Hard to believe that it's July 1st already! Where has the time gone. NWMichiganMommies.com has been open and running since May 19th!! July 19th will mark 2 months that we've been getting new members, having some wonderful events, and making new friends. If you are interested in joining us be sure to go to: http://www.nwmichiganmommies.com/ and register for FREE! Please be sure to share our blog and website with all of your mommy friends in Antrim, Charlevoix, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska and Leelanau counties. Have friends in other parts of the country with kids? You can direct them to: http://www.themommiesnetwork.org/index.shtml where they can find a group in their local area. If there isn't one they can apply to start a group in their area!
Back to it being July! We have LOTS of great events scheduled for this month! So if you haven't done so already, register on the site and go to our calendar in the forums section! There you can view our events, RSVP to attend them and chat about them in our Events & Happenings forum. Some of our events include: Weekly New Member Online Chat on Thursdays, Sidewalk Chalk Playdates at the Park, Picnics at the Park, Breastfeeding Playdates, Beach Days, Trips to Great Lakes Children's Museum, Story times at local libraries, Mommy & Me Walks in various places, just to name a few. We're always adding more events such as: Mom's Night Out, Coffee Connection, "Ugly Coffee", etc.
Looking forward to seeing lots of new members joining this summer and coming out to our events! :)
