Summer Ending

WOW! Where has the time gone? Seems like just yesterday our site launched and we were having our first few members sign up. That was back on May 19th! Now here we are and it's nearing the end of August. What a great summer it's been! Lots of wonderful events, new members, meeting new friends, online chats, camping trips, boating, beach playdates, Mom's Night Out events, etc. I'm so pleased with how our new TMN(The Mommies Network) Chapter is doing. NWMichiganMommies has come so far already and we're only a few months in since we opened. If you haven't already be sure to check out our website: http://www.NWMichiganMommies.com share it with your friends & family. Chances are that if they don't live in our area that there is most likely another TMN Chapter near where they live. I'm sure that everyone had a busy summer and hopefully it was a great one for you and your family.
As the end of summer nears I always think about school starting, football games, fall colors, cooler weather, being able to wear a hoodie, halloween, etc. Lots of great things come with Fall/Autumn. What are some things that YOU look forward to and think about?
This year will be a bit more exciting for my family. For the first time in 5 years we're actually living back in Northern Michigan and it will be the first Fall that my girls will get to spend/see in Michigan. I'm very excited to share it with them. On top of that, my oldest starts Preschool this fall as well! She is SOO very excited and looking forward to it. Lots of changes to come for us in the next few months. Here's to hoping for all to have a wonderful transition from Summer to Fall :)
Some of our Fall events to look forward to are: Pumpkin Patch Playdates, Apple Picking Events, Fall Craft Playdates, Trunk or Treat during Halloween time, Recipe Swaps, Cookie/Baked Good Exchanges, our last few Park Playdates before snow flies, etc. I hope to see lots of you on the forums posting, RSVP'ing to events and meeting many of you at our events.
