WOW! Where has the time gone? Seems like just yesterday our site launched and we were having our first few members sign up. That was back on May 19th! Now here we are and it's nearing the end of August. What a great summer it's been! Lots of wonderful events, new members, meeting new friends, online chats, camping trips, boating, beach playdates, Mom's Night Out events, etc. I'm so pleased with how our new TMN(The Mommies Network) Chapter is doing. NWMichiganMommies has come so far already and we're only a few months in since we opened. If you haven't already be sure to check out our website: http://www.NWMichiganMommies.com share it with your friends & family. Chances are that if they don't live in our area that there is most likely another TMN Chapter near where they live. I'm sure that everyone had a busy summer and hopefully it was a great one for you and your family.

Are you in need of a coffee break? Feeling rather overwhelmed by the end of the summer, getting kids ready to go back to school, feeling the burn out? Well we have the perfect opportunity for you to get that break! Every other week we've been having Mom's Night Out events. So far they've been mostly at local coffee shops. For instance, July 27th we had one at Aroma's Coffee & Tea in Traverse City. Such a great event! We had 5 moms come join us for some GREAT conversation, relaxation, YUMMY coffee and delicious treats and had a great time getting to know each other. It was a wonderful turn out for our first Mom's Night Out(MNO) event. I was very pleased :)
